Believe It! Shortlisted In The BBC Audio Drama Awards



The shortlist for the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2015 is now out and the BBC Radio 4 comedy show Believe It! is nominated in the Best Scripted Comedy Drama category. The spoof autobiography written by Jon Canter stars Richard Wilson as an exaggerated version of himself and a supporting cast that includes David Tennant, Arabella Weir, John Sessions, Simon Greenall and Samantha Spiro. The nominated episode 'Victor' co-stars David as Mickey Mouse. 

Jon Canter is also nominated in the same category for his comedy drama I'm A Believer. The third programme in the shortlist is Lunch by Marcy Kahan.

The BBC Audio Drama Awards were established in 2012 to pay tribute to the cultural importance of audio drama, on air and online, and are intended to give recognition to the actors, writers, producers, sound designers and others who work in the genre. The awards are judged by experts from across the industry.


The winners will be revealed at a ceremony to be held on Sunday 1 February 2015.
