VIDEO: David Tennant Talks About His Postman Pat Character Wilf



In an exclusive interview clip posted by The Express, David Tennant speaks about the devious character that he voices in the animated feature Postman Pat: The Movie.

David plays  Wilf, talent manager to young singer Josh played by Rupert Grint. The determined Wilf sets up elaborate schemes to prevent Postman Pat from winning the TV talent competition in which they are rivals.

"My attempts to vanquish Pat get more and more unscrupulous the more desperate I get," he says.

Postman Pat: The Movie sees the ever popular kids' TV character, voiced by Stephen Mangan, with singing vocals by Ronan Keating, leave his day job in search of fame and fortune. Pat enters a singing competition to try to win a holiday for his beloved wife, but in his absence, a plot is set in motion that poses a threat to sleepy Greendale - and the whole world!

Postman Pat: The Movie is released on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on Monday 29th September
